Ashogbon Farms produces a range of agricultural products including poultry, vegetables, fruits, and grains. Our poultry includes broilers, layers, and cockerels which are raised on a natural diet without any artificial additives or hormones. We also grow a variety of vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, onions, and cabbage using organic farming methods. In addition to this, we produce maize, soybeans, and rice.
Our products are certified by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), which is responsible for regulating and controlling the manufacture, importation, exportation, distribution, advertisement, and use of food, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, chemicals, and packaged water in Nigeria. They are also certified by the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON), which is responsible for setting standards for products and services in Nigeria.
Our Production Method
At Ashogbon Farms, we use sustainable and organic farming methods to produce our agricultural products. We avoid the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, and instead use natural methods such as crop rotation, composting, and integrated pest management. This helps to maintain the health of the soil and environment, while reducing the risk of harmful chemicals in their products.
Our poultry is raised on a natural diet consisting of grains, vegetables, and herbs. Our birds are housed in a spacious and clean coop that are regularly rotated to prevent overcrowding and disease. We also practice humane slaughtering methods to ensure that their animals are treated with respect and dignity.
Our vegetable crops are grown using organic farming techniques such as companion planting, mulching, and crop rotation. These methods help to improve soil fertility, reduce erosion, and control pests and diseases without the use of harmful chemicals.
